I would highly recommend Matt Fay of AIM to any business owner who is looking for a reliable web developer. I have had an ecommerce website for 16 years. I have gone through many webmasters but finally found one that gets the job done in an “as promised” time frame. I like the fact that if I ask Matt to make a design change to my site, he will take care of it in a “holistic” fashion. Matt understands the many facets of design from the tech aspect to the aesthetic aspect. And the best part is that he has his client’s best interest in mind to produce a top notch website for them.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a website cost?
Impossible to say without knowing what your business needs.
When you inquire about a website project with us, we will go through a process together that will help us understand your goals, your business, your market, your competition, and your customers. From there, we can put together solutions and form an idea of cost.
However, for transparency, if you are looking for a basic, but effective, web presence the cost would be in the $2k to $6k range. For more custom and complex projects, costs would be in the $5k to $15k range.
Many freelancers and small agencies will design a website for a client, whip it out, and then jump to the next client, while not really caring about the client’s actual business once the check is cashed.
We’re different because we only accept a small handful of website design projects each year. This allows us to really focus, and take the time to really understand your business as best we can. It’s why our average client working relationship lasts over 4 years. Because it works. Our clients make money. And they love us for it.
Are there any ongoing fees?
Not necessarily. It is up to the client. Though once the site is complete we do recommend keeping us along side you though for a few reasons.
We’ve been doing this for a LONG time. The best successes are when we work together with client to grow the site. One of the biggest complaints we hear is “it doesn’t work”.
These days all websites need some sort of ongoing marketing and management in order to work (“work” = bring in sales and leads).
If you just have a site built and then ignore it, then you take a big chance on Google deciding who your customers should be, or worse, not ever being found in search engines.
So, yes, we highly recommend ongoing attention to your website and internet brand.
How long does it take to build my website?
That varies depending on the project. It will depend on how active you are in the process. Once you meet with your project manager and go over details, you will have a good idea of the timeline. Depending upon the complexity, websites take anywhere from 4-12 weeks to complete.
What if I need support after you build the website?
Your website is warrantied for 30 days after your site is launched. We’ll fix any issues for free. That also means you can ask questions, have us tweak things, support you as you learn, etc.
During this 30 days, we are proactive on dialing in your website. We will focus on site speed – getting your site to load as fast as possible (great for users and search engines). We will also be focusing on organic SEO techniques on your key pages, so that you have a great chance at ranking right away.
After that, support is handled on a a priority basis. For example, security issues will always be top priority. You will be charged an hourly rate for most requests. Website management clients receive the benefit of 24/7/365 priority support, discounted rates, and even on-site support when the need arises.
