• Picking Your Site:
  • Browse our catalog and choose your desired website layout
  • Complete the easy, secure checkout. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and PayPal.
• Providing Your Page Copy and Pictures:
  • Upon order completion, you will be sent a confirmation email with instructions on how to submit your page content.
  • You will be asked to email your page copy (text) to us.
    • Text limit is one page of single-spaced 8.5" x 11", minimum 12-pt font per web page
    • Text files must be spell-checked and formatted exactly as you want on your web page. We will not spell check or edit your copy.
    • Text files must be sent in Microsoft Word (.doc) or text (.txt) file formats
  • You will be asked to send pictures for your website
    • Pictures must be sent in .jpg or .gif format.
    • File size should be no larger than 500k each
    • One picture per web page
  • We will place your company name in the website header.
  • We will change the link titles to match your page content
• Search Engines
  • Our semi-custom sites are built like our custom sites. We use clean, validated code which is search engine friendly. Make sure to include important key terms in your page copy. We will not edit your text from what you send us.
  • We will create meta-title, meta-description and meta-keyword tags to match each page content.
  • We will submit your site to Google and Yahoo for inclusion in their search engines.
• Web Hosting
  • As with all websites, you will need a hosting account
  • You can set up your own hosting account (you will need to provide the FTP details), or...
  • We can set one up for you. If you decide you would like us to handle hosting for you,
    • You will choose your hosting package during purchase of your site and purchase it when you purchase your site.
    • Your card on file will be charged the appropriate annual or quarterly charges automatically when current hosting period expires.
    • View our selection of hosting packages and choose which is right for you.
    • If you choose our hosting, you will be provided with the control panel log in that you can use to create your email address and access hosting features.
  • When the site is approved, and provided domain and hosting is set up, we will upload your site and you will be live!
• Domain Names
  • As with all websites, you will need a domain name.
  • If you do not have one, we recommend registering one at GoDaddy.com
    • If you register your own domain, and purchase your own hosting account, you will need to contact your web host for the DNS information for their servers. You will then need to change those settings in your GoDaddy account. This is how your domain becomes attached to your website.
    • If you register your own domain, and use one of our hosting accounts, we will provide you with the appropriate DNS information to change your domain settings.
    • If you would rather us register a domain for you and make the DNS changes for you, you can select this option when you purchase your site. This option gives you "hands off" ability on making DNS changes and setting up various accounts.
  • If you would like us to take care of the domain name setup for you, you will be asked to provide five requested domain names in order of preference. We will register your top choice that is available.
• Updates, Maintenance and Changes
  • When your site is complete, you will have an opportunity to make final changes. If you decide to change your text you will be asked to resend updated text. If it is a simple change (a typo, inclusion of one sentence, etc), you can simply email that change request in lieu of sending a new file.
  • Future changes, additions and other edit requests will be done on an hourly rate of $50 per hour. These will be charged to your credit card on file.
  • No ongoing fees will apply except for domain renewal (every two years) and applicable hosting charges.
• Adding eCommerce
  • If you want to add eCommerce to you site, click here for details.
  • You will purchase an Express Site as normal. We will then contact you to begin the construction process.
  • You credit card will be charged the difference for the shopping cart construction and web hosting.
