One of the most asked questions we answer from new clients relates to how the whole process works. Sometimes the unknown can be a scary thing. The process is not complex, and the time it takes to complete your project depends on your participation.
Here's how the process generally works:
- We will discuss your needs, goals and budget. From that information we will provide you with:
- Suggestions on what type of website might suit you best.
- Suggestions on ideas that may save you money, and ideas about your website that will make it work well for you. We can take your idea and build on it to gain maximum effectiveness!
- Provide you with an initial project quote.
- Depending upon the project scope, we will ask you for a few items.
- You will be asked to will any logos, company graphics, brochures, catalogs and other marketing materials you may have. You will be instructed on how to provide page content (the text).
- For AIM-Cart projects, we will ask for a logo, and a little bit of company information. You will also be discussing payment methods, shipping methods and other aspects of setting up an eCommerce business. We're here to help you, and we try to make that process as easy as possible for you.
- We will create a draft of your layout for approval.
- We then build the site pages (if applicable) and link it all together.
- Upon your approval of the site, we set up hosting (if needed) and make the site live.
- We make final tweaks and submit to search engines.
- That's it!! Your site is live.
